THANASIS KALOUDIS

DELTA distributor in Corfu and the surrounding islands

“My father has been in charge of distributing DELTA products in Corfu since 1989. He first got into this profession because he enjoyed being in contact with people, something which I also enjoy, being the second generation of the family to continue this business. I wake up very early in the morning and rush to be on time in order to supply the stores. Milk must reach its destination early in the morning and it must always arrive fresh. Your role becomes even easier when you trust the product you are carrying, and this is how it is with DELTA’s milk!

Naturally, not everything is easy in this line of business. There are many difficulties. Strikes, bad weather, delays – but the biggest difficulties are about distributing by boat to the three small islands of the north coast of Corfu – Othonoi, Mathraki and Ereikousa. This is where the Ionian Sea ends and the Adriatic Sea begins – the most northern point of our country. We go there in harsh weather, wind and choppy sea. Still, all of us at DELTA feel that it is our mission to deliver fresh products from one edge of this land to the other – and this is something that we do with care, pride and joy!”
